Youth For Understanding

YFU is a non-profit organization that has been facilitating exchange student programs since 1951, both domestic students going overseas as well as placing foreign students with US families. We promote mutual respect, social responsibility, and strong educational principles through positive cultural interaction. Working with the Department of State and over 45 partner agencies in 62 countries, YFU is one of the most well established exchange student programs in the USA.
