About Us
The MindWell Center is an outpatient mental health system headquartered in Ithaca, New York. MindWell’s mission is to provide high quality evidence-based mental health care to children, families, and adults. MindWell specializes in patient-centered, measurement and evidence-based care and assessment. MindWell clinicians specialize in evidence-based interventions to support a variety of mental health presentations. MindWell offers assessments to support a variety of needs and presentations. All clients of MindWell receive a comprehensive assessment as the first component of engaging in therapeutic services. Additional types of assessments are available upon request. Assessments are a valuable tool in understanding the pathway for most effective intervention. MindWell exclusively provides modern mental health treatments that are evidence-based and are typically time-limited, present-focused, and often adhere to a manual to help maintain
fidelity to the intervention. MindWell provides convenient care options both at our state-of-the-art clinical offices on Ithaca’s South Hill as well as to clients throughout New York via our secure and convenient video therapy platform.MindWell clinicians provide Measurement-Based Care (MBC) to all clients. MBC is the practice of basing clinical care on client data collected throughout treatment. MBC is considered a core component of numerous evidence-based practices. There are many benefits of MBC including insight into treatment progress and targets, monitoring of symptom reduction, and improvements in client outcomes.
