Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public spaces according to established standards
- Maintain floor care through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to ensure pristine surfaces
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to meet guest needs
- Handle janitorial tasks including waste removal, dusting, window cleaning, and surface sanitation
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and operate industrial cleaning equipment when necessary
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution
- Support housekeeping management in inventory control and scheduling tasks to optimize efficiency
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping roles
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods
- Familiarity with hotel or hospitality industry standards and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues
- Prior custodial or housekeeping management experience is a plus
