Welcome to Energy Profiler Online Essentials

Come hear Tim Winderl from NYSEG announce the release of Energy Profiler Online (EPO) Essentials.  EPO is an online portal for NYSEG non-residential demand metered customers that works with your smart meter data to help you better understand your electricity use and identify opportunities for efficiencies. Making some small changes to when you’re using electricity can create a more efficient and resilient grid and make a big difference to your community and New York. This tool is typically a paid-for service, but is being provided to you for free as part of the Energy Smart Community pilot program. 
 
Tim will demonstrate how EPO Essentials can help you better understand your energy usage and energy bills.
Here’s how:

1. View your building’s monthly electrical usage and daily demand profile on the Essential’s page.
2. Use the Advanced Reports feature to review details about your building’s historical energy usage including load profiles, load duration curves, detailed usage history, and more.
3. Choose to share your data with third parties like contractors or Energy Managers.
4. Set alerts to better understand when your building is using energy.
5. Learn more about our new electric time-of-use rates, known as the Smart Usage Plan, and how voluntary switching could impact your electric costs.
