Sexual Harassment Prevention Training
This is your last chance to comply with New York State's Sexual Harassment Prevention Training guidelines! On Tuesday, October 8th from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., the Tompkins Chamber hosts certified trainer Linda Bryan to administer this program as required by New York State.
This 1.5 hour NYS Compliant Sexual Harassment Prevention Training will include:
- an explanation of sexual harassment consistent with New York State guidance;
- examples of unlawful sexual harassment;
- information regarding federal/state law on sexual harassment and remedies available to victims;
- Information regarding employee rights of redress and available forums for adjudicating complaints; and
- Address supervisor conduct & responsibilities.
About our presenter:
Linda Bryan, MPS, received her sexual harassment prevention training from Hancock & Estabrook LLP. She holds a Masters Degree from the School of Industrial & Labor Relations at Cornell University. She previously served as Director of Employee Assistance Program at Family & Children's Service of Ithaca, where she provided human resource consultations for regional businesses and not-for-profit organizations.
