DEI Series - Accessibility and Inclusion for Businesses

The Tompkins Chamber is proud to host a DEI: Brave Space session, "Accessibility and Inclusion for Businesses" presented by the Finger Lakes Independence Center

Join the Finger Lakes Independence Center’s Jeff Boles and Andrea Champlin for practical tips on how to increase accessibility and inclusion at your place of business. The training session will cover a brief overview of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), your responsibilities as a business owner, cost-effective tips and tricks, and guidance for increasing inclusion. Attendees will also receive a resource list for additional guidance and support.

Finger Lakes Independence Center (FLIC) is dedicated to supporting persons with disabilities of any age to live as independently as possible for as long as possible. They offer the borrowing of assistive devices and equipment, information and referral, peer counseling, benefits advisement, personal assistant programs, employment assistance, student transition services, and so much more.
