DESCRIPTION:Any Chamber member business owners interested in becoming certified as a Minority & Woman Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE)\, are welcome to attend an information session led by Gladys Brangman of BLOC.\n\n \nThis will be an interactive conversation about MWBE and will include:\n\n\n	The certification process\n	Departments that need MWBE services\n	Business types New York State is seeking\n	Q & A\n\nDirectly after this informative session\, we will host our regular Women in Business gathering at Business is Blooming. See info and register HERE.\n\n\n\nAbout the Presenter:\n\nGladys Brangman is at her best when serving others and has set out to make the small business world more profitable by offering support services and networking opportunities. Her most recent venture is Business Leaders of Colors (BLOC). BLOC offers training and development\, networking opportunities and business consulting. Her business is MWBE certified and she has trained with NYS to guide businesses through the certification process.\n\nOriginally from Albany\, New York\, Gladys came to the area to study at SUNY Cortland. She has a bachelors in communications and a master's degree in conflict resolution and reconciliation from Abilene Christian University. Gladys has lived in the Ithaca area for the better part of 35 years. She makes her home in Lansing\, teaches hip hop dance when she can\, and believes that there is no higher calling than that of a servant.\n\n\nTHANK YOU to Warren Real Estate for sponsoring this special event!
