SUMMARY:Ribbon Cutting for Mix Art Gallery and Revelry Yards
DESCRIPTION:Please join the Tompkins Chamber\, Downtown Ithaca Alliance\, and City of Ithaca officials for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of two new businesses: Mix Art Gallery and Revelry Yards.\n\n\n\nWe will begin at Mix Art Gallery and proceed to Revelry Yards. Please note that Mix Art Gallery is not wheelchair accessible.\n\n\n\nAbout Mix Art Gallery:\n\nith this creative space\, MIX Art Gallery\, I would like to bring joy through art to a broader audience. I would like all who enter the space to feel that they are a part of the art- an extension of the process\, and final product. \n\n\n\n and perhaps you will be inspired to support the independent artists showing by purchasing an original creation to take home with you\; and in turn this will continually remind you of your own personal joy. This is my quest. \n\n\n\nThis joy is how I wish this gallery to contribute to this already vibrant Ithacan community and beyond.\n\n\n\nRemarks by:\n\nMayor Laura Lewis\, City of Ithaca\n\nTom Knipe\, Deputy Director for Economic Development\, City of Ithaca\n\nJennifer Tavares\, President & CEO\, Tompkins Chamber\n\nGary Ferguson\, Executive Director\, Downtown Ithaca Alliance\n\nWendy Gherity\, Owner & Curator\, Mix Art Gallery\n\n\n\nAbout Revelry Yards:\n\nLocated on restaurant row\, just off The Commons\, Revelry Yards features weekday lunch\, weekend brunch and nightly dinner featuring a sharing menu. Revelry Yards features up to a dozen craft beers produced in the microbrewery upstairs.\n\n\n\n The freshly renovated space will also feature a fresh new look behind restaurant row dubbed The Yards. This expansive outdoor patio will provide a casual full-service experience from a centrally located "Container Bar" fabricated out of a shipping container with a patio menu centralized around a wood fired oven. \n\n\n\nRemarks by:\n\nMayor Laura Lewis\, City of Ithaca\n\nTom Knipe\, Deputy Director for Economic Development\, City of Ithaca\n\nJennifer Tavares\, President & CEO\, Tompkins Chamber\n\nGary Ferguson\, Executive Director\, Downtown Ithaca Alliance\n\nKevin Sullivan\, Owner\, Revelry Yards
