Cargill Deicing Technology (CDT) is a North American leader in producing and distributing winter snow-fighting products and services. As one of CDT’s three mines, the Cayuga Salt Mine has been in operation since 1922 in Lansing, New York. The Cayuga Mine processes approximately 2 million tons of road salt that is shipped to more than 1,500 locations throughout the northeast United States.
