Three Keys to Retaining Your Best Employees:
Mastering the Relationships That Matter
"It's generally estimated that replacing an employee costs a business one-half to five times that employee's annual salary." ~ U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics
- Have you ever known a manager who was technically skilled and clueless about people?
- Have you had great employees suddenly quit without warning?
- Are your front line supervisor's lack of communication and people skills leaving your employees disenchanted?
If you answered, "yes" to one or more of these questions, then attend the upcoming workshop - Three Keys to Retaining Your Best Employees: Mastering the Relationships That Matter, held
on September 4th from 8:30am-12:30pm at the Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce. You'll receive the Three Keys to Retaining High Level Employees. You will learn what it takes to
build rapport, how to use meaningful dialogue to assess your employees' level of engagement, and prevent turnover of gold star employees.
This workshop is designed for the newly appointed supervisor all the way up to the senior manager. If you find yourself doing any of the following, then this workshop is for
you:
- See an employee inappropriately dressed, say nothing, and then fume in your office alone
- Wait to confront a situation, then go too far by yelling or saying all the wrong things
- Bury resentments because you don't know how to productively disagree
- Feel trapped between your boss's demands and your employees' needs
Expect to learn:
How managing your state directly influences the people around you.
What truly motivates people and why it matters
How to identify what stage your team is at and how to move them to the next higher stage.
The world of technology, medicine, environment and business is changing faster than ever. However, there has always been and will always be one constant truth, which is that we must
have good relationships to survive and thrive. Management styles have a direct impact on employee engagement and in turn, employee engagement is critical to keeping a company
responsive to change. What would your business look like if you had your ideal working relationships? Find out by attending Three Keys to Retaining Your Best Employees on September 4th.
